【ボンゴのマイクテスト】ZOOM Q3 Handy Video Recorder

2009年発売の古いZOOM Q3 Handy Video Recorder。これのマイク部分だけを使ってみました。カメラはLogitech WebCam C910。ZOOM Q3のカメラ部分は今では使いものになりませんが、マイクだけは良い。

ラインアウトから録音したんですが、そうしたら電源自動オフになって１分しか録れません。いっしょに録画しないとだめかも。

画像の青いやつがZOOM Q3です。

I tried using just the microphone section of the ZOOM Q3 Handy Video Recorder, an older model released in 2009. For the video, I used a Logitech Webcam C910. While the camera on the ZOOM Q3 is obsolete by today's standards, the microphone still sounds great.

I tried recording via the line-out jack, but the device kept automatically powering off, limiting the recording to just one minute. It seems I might need to record video at the same time to keep it running.

そういえば、この撮影に使っているウェブカメラのLogitech WebCam C910もけっこういいエレクトレットコンデンサーマイクを積んでいたな、と思い出してこちらでも録音してみました。

普通に録れていますね。あまり録音マイクに使う気にはなりませんが、悪くない。

Come to think of it, I recalled that the Logitech Webcam C910 I’m using for this shoot is equipped with a pretty decent electret condenser microphone, so I decided to try recording with it as well.

It records quite normally. I wouldn't really choose to use it as a dedicated recording microphone, but it’s not bad.
